In November 2004, two Bright Eyes singles, Lua and Take It Easy (Love Nothing), reached the two top spots on the Billboard Hot 100 Single Sales. It details a life riddled with substance abuse and loneliness, amidst high society and the crowded streets of NYC. It was on number 89 of Rolling Stone’s 100 Best Songs of the 2000s.
