Tri Repetae (stylized as tri repetae. released in the United States as Tri Repetae++) is the third studio album by the British electronic music duo Autechre, released on 6 November 1995 by Warp Records in the United Kingdom and on 16 March 1996 by Wax Trax! Records and TVT Records. The album was released in the US as a two-disc set named Tri Repetae++, which included the Garbage and Anvil Vapre EPs constituting the second CD. In Japan, it was released with the bonus track "Medrey".

In terms of Autechre’s back catalogue ‘Tri Repetae’ is generally regarded as the bands finest work and is the bridge between their Kraftwerk inspired past and their avant garde future. As both a landmark album for the genre and the band it is an essential album for any fan of electronic music and a great starting point for a new listener.

Tri Repetae is the third studio album by English electronic music duo Autechre. Category: B. Release date: 6 November 1995 (UK), 16 March 1996 (US). Label: Warp (UK), TVT, Wax Trax! (US)

With 1995’s Tri Repetae, Autechre obliterated all that they-and most of their Warp roster mates-had done before. Rather than cut away vestigial parts, they scoured off all flesh and cheesy bits entirely, trash-compacted their hard drives and went full cyborg instead. While Aphex Twin used a dentist drill-high frequency to wheeze atop his single Ventolin earlier that year, Autechre made it their entire aesthetic, reconfiguring each component of their productions with that same level of sonic intensity.

This DJ so funky man. I love the glitch'n and the bitch'n of the album. It sounds super dramatic and shit. 2. 1y. EntryIncomplete. 93. Despite the repetitive nature of Tri Repetae, there are few moments I'd describe as boring. In fact, it's exactly the repetition that makes the songs as good as they are.
