The quartet flew to Maui to write and rehearse a new album from the peace and comfort of Young's palm-shaded beach house. They named the project Human Highway

CSNY 1974 is the nineteenth album by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, their seventh in the quartet configuration, and their fifth live album, the third as a foursome. Issued on Rhino Records in 2014, it consists of concert material recorded in 1974 on the band's tour during the summer of that year.

Notes

During May and June 1973, recording sessions took place for a projected CSNY album at Lahania on the island of Maui in Hawaii. Several songs were recorded. The album was to be called “Human Highway.”
